Hey, Southern Maryland! After a successful trial appearance at Pirate's Cove in Galesville, MD - Surprise, Surprise! They want Frank, Elvis & Raines back this September 8th from 8-12. Come try my newest spot for Music & Fun! And it is waterfront, on the West River.
For those in the Baltimore/Northern Anne Arundel/Howard Counties area, it looks like a return to Alibi's in October for F, E & R this fall!
Nearly everything else that is coming up this season, booked so far, is private, but there may be more public events for you to see me.
Keep an eye here, or follow me on Facebook and Twitter for announcements of new gigs in your area!

Frank Raines is a complete entertainer!
Performing at the DBC in Dewey Beach, you usually find him wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. At a recent gig in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he wore one of his several tuxedos. Depending on the venue, you would always find him properly attired for the occasion. In Altoona, it was a dinner set (like he does at DBC) of standards from Frank Sinatra & Michael Buble, some classic Chicago, along with an assortment of light music fare from the 60s, 70s, and later. All sung to with exceptional background tracks to have the feel of full orchestra accompaniment. Elvis sets and party sets are done similarly to provide the quality of a live, big band at a fraction of the cost! And one singer with PA system means you can accomodate more quality entertainment in a smaller venue. More value added!

And don't forget, Frank has been a professional Master of Ceremonies for over 20 years. He emcee'd his first Beauty Pageant in 1990 and has hosted TV Shows, National Corporate and Private Events, and nearly any other type of event you can think of over the years. Again, the consumate host and entertainer!

The Dinner Set can be a mix of music such as:
L-O-V-E, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?; Fly Me To The Moon; Best Thing To Ever Happen (from Frank's first CD); Haven't Met You Yet; Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You; Moonlight Feels Right; Lady Love; Moonlighting; Beyond the Sea; Almost Like Being In Love; Fool If You Think It's Over; Summer Wind; Quadrilogy Trilogy (3 of my sister's favorites - Brandy, Dancing In The Moonlight, & Ride Captain, Ride); For Once In My Life; Crystal Blue Persuasion; If You're Gone; That's Life; Save The Last Dance For Me; I've Got you Under My Skin; Last of the Singing Cowboys; The Way You Look Tonight; Just The Two Of Us; Mack the Knife; and Beginnings.

The Party/Singalong Set may include songs like:
Havin' A Party; Big Yellow Taxi; Fins!; Long Train Running; Temptations & Four Tops Motown 25 Medley (nearly a dozen of their greatest hits); Use Somebody; Mony Mony; Harder To Breathe; Grazing In The Grass; Barry White Medley (4 of Barry's Best); Friends In Low Places; Let It Ride; Word Up; Why Don't We Get Drunk and...; A Little Bit More; Brickhouse; No Such Thing; Touch Me; Domino; Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off; You Were On My Mind; Viva La Vida; Jackie Wilson Said; Jump, Jive & Wail; Hooked On A Feeling (oom-pa-sha-ga!); Ol' 55; Steal My Kisses; K.C. & the Sunshine Band Medley (4 of Disco's finest dance songs); New Age Girl; Love Train; Hey Bartender; I Don't Want to Go Home; and many more!

A Hawaiian shirt and shorts is formal attire at this restaurant during the summer at the beach.

At the many restaurants and clubs that you will find Frank "Elvis" Raines performing many evenings this summer and fall, he usually begins the evening performing a dinner set of Sinatra, Buble, Darin and such, while patrons enjoyed a fine meal. "Elvis" then comes to life for one more show during dessert. And Frank gets them all back on their feet and ready to Rock'N'Roll with a danceable, party set to sing along with, and get up and party to! And now, the tradition will hopefully continue through fall, so please stop by!

A Girl's Night Out at Port needed a picture with the King, following his 9:30 Elvis floor show.

To understand what a professional Elvis Tribute Artist should look and sound like before booking him, Click on one of the links on the F, E & R page of this website, and go about halfway down to videos of Frank performing as "Elvis".

These are the same background tracks Frank uses when performing without a band. They are very similar arrangements to those Elvis used. It IS Frank singing! This should allow you to hear how pure Frank's voice truly is. Live, you can close your eyes and it sounds just like Elvis has returned, just for you!

This Year!

Sorry, but so much of the schedule is usually private - weddings, corporate events, private parties, etc., especially around the holidays, but as noted above, there are still many fun opportunities to see your favorite entertainer in 2018 again.

You'll be able to catch Frank for Breakfast with Elvis at 11:30 AM, every Sunday from Memorial Day thru Labor Day next summer again at the Starboard in Dewey Beach. On occasional weekend evenings during the summer, Frank joins various groups that perform onstage there, as Elvis during their performances, so you never know where he will pop up in Dewey Beach. Check this space for dates and times! He nearly always shows up when "Bruce In The USA!" is around, so watch out!
Also again in 2018, I have returned to the "Bethany Boathouse" Restaurant and Bar for Saturday evening shows! It is the "Frank, Elvis & Raines Show" as Frank kicks off the evening with a dinner set from 5 - 6:15. Elvis appears around 6:45 for nearly an hour-long show. Then Mr. Raines returns with party hits to sing-a-long with and dance to. It is a fun evening!
And now dates at a new venue right next to Dewey Beach at the Forgotten Mile Ale House. I am also working on dates on the 'mainland" side of the Bay Bridge in Galesville, MD, on the water, at Pirate's Cove Restaurant!
There are always a multitude of private parties for the Elvis Week in August, and all season long, Frank does the Ravens pregame party at Indusco. Frank also performs at various regular holiday events throughout the year. I will post the details as they get closer so keep an eye on this web-site.

Performing ceremony at a beautiful chapel.

Did you know that Frank is an ordained minister?

Yes, he has legally performed marriages in the states of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia (he is a registered minister in D.C.). Other states may have special requirements, call Frank for specifics in the state you request.

Baseball fans get married at Camden Yards.
Here "Elvis" performs a legal and binding wedding in Maryland.

Whether you have thought about going to Vegas and having "Elvis" marry you, or you are simply looking for a beautiful, non-denominational wedding service, Frank may be the answer to your wedding questions.

Contact him above and let him know your interests.

The bride and groom get a picture with their "Minister".

At this wedding, Elvis not only performed the ceremony, but he later performed a set and sand for the bride and groom's first dance!
